Harrogate Carpet Show

Living in the US for the last 5 years this was the first Harrogate show I have attended for some time, so this was interesting to see the changes. In terms of style direction there are some dramatic difference between the UK and the USA and there were plenty of examples of this at the show.  Stripes have been a ever present look for the last 5 years and there were some very nice examples on display.  I do believe there is a direction emerging from within this stripe category that will become important over the next few years.

There are still opportunities to innovate in the competitive UK market and creating that point of difference is still an important factor. Doing this within existing manufacturing parameters is an important consideration.
